"Don’t give up on the love you find. It is a rare gift that should be cherished, even when you feel like you are burdened and angry."
This heart-wrenching story is about a man asking his wife for a divorce, but the end will leave you in tears.
This Thanksgiving, don’t forget to tell your loved ones just how much you love and appreciate them and all they do for you. Remember and cherish them, just as they remember and cherish you.
When I was a little girl, I asked my mother, “What is ‘Love’?”
Mother said, “Love is not something you can see, hear, taste or touch - it is something you must feel. Love is complicated to define, but should be easy to give. You can try to describe it, but it’s like trying to taste the number 4.
Love is like oxygen - it’s all around, and we need to love. We were made from love.”
We were made to love.
We need to love.
Love is all around us,
We just need to give ours away
And be patient.
Love is patient,
Love is kind,
And Love never faileth.
Since Valentine’s Day is this week, I thought I’d do a couple of Valentine’s related posts till then.
I think the most important thing to remember (that a lot of other people forget) is to love yourself. And I don’t mean you should aimlessly pamper yourself or that you should put yourself on a pedestal, no. That’s actually the complete opposite, you’re just showing the world you’re trying to compensate for the fact that you’re really insecure about yourself.
What I mean is, you should really take the time to sit down, look in the mirror and say, “I love me”, imperfections and everything. I don’t care if you just got through three hours in the gym or just woke up, look at yourself and tell you that you love… you. You can’t live your life to the fullest if you don’t love yourself, so why don’t you? You, of all people, definitely deserve it. You’re wonderful, you’re beautiful, you’re smart, you’re one of a kind. Love yourself.
